Japanese word of the week #6

It's Friday and it means another Japanese word. Today's word is:

(hiragana), バカ (katakana), 馬鹿 (Kanji), Baka (Romanji), and stupid/foolish (English) this is used as the informal way of saying stupid. As for the Kanji it written as horse (馬) plus deer (鹿). It is said that a foolish king of the Chinese Qin dynasty, when once seeing a deer said ba instead of ka, and as a joke he earned the nickname baka. I was shocked that he let that happen or he might have killed everyone but I was not there to see.

Example:

"Ouch! baka you stepped on my foot"

It conjugates, yet, it's a word written in katagana, not hiragana... let's see if you found the source of that word :D
