| | So this is a bit late since the show started last week but I have been putting it off for a bit but here goes. The show is produced by J.J Abrams production company Bad Robot and written by Steven Lilien, Elizabeth Sarnoff, and Bryan Wynbrandt. The show is a sci-fi drama which is J.J Abrams style. The cast consist of Jorge Garcia from LOST, Sarah Jones, and Sam Neill. The premiere was last Monday on Fox and it was a 2 hour premiere. The whole story is that Alcatraz was close in 1963 due to rising costs and all prisoners were transferred to other jails but that is not what really happened. The prisoners along with the guards disappeared from one day to another and never found until now. The prisoners are returning at present time but the weird thing is they have not aged and are still causing trouble. The other weird thing is where have they been? who took them? and why? The weird thing that we find out in the first episode is that Rebecca Madsen (Sarah Jones) partner was killed while chasing a suspect but who was that person they were chasing none other than her grandfather who she thought was a guard in Alcatraz but he was an inmate. Also there is the guy behind the curtain in 1960 Alcatraz who I know that he and the doctor have something to do with the disappearance of the inmates and guards. Well my only worry is that the show will start to take some twist that will leave us or basically me confused just like LOST and Fringe. As of now it is enjoyable and I leave it at that but recommend you watch it.   |
